Travelers Insurance Company - Worst company in the World
We hold multiple Travelers policies and spend tens of thousands of dollars a year for coverage on multiple properties and automobiles. The pipe from our bathtub in our apartment leaked and damaged our downstairs neighbor's apartment.
It's relatively minor damage and the cost of the repair is estimated at approximately $2,000. I have spent more than 20 hours talking to various Travelers representatives who have been uniformly rude and hostile. Unbelievably, they argue that because there was NO negligence, they won't cover the damage.
They actually said that if we had turned on the tub faucet and let it run all day intentionally, we would be covered, but because we didn't know about the leak and stopped using the tub once we learned of the leak, they won't cover it. Here's a fact for you Travelers- you won't be covering us at all from now on!
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $2000.
Preferred solution: pay a legitimate claim on a policy where we've paid premiums for years.
