First off, if you have a smartphone, turn off the GPS on your phone, their dumb Private Eyes followed me for the last 3 years using this method, I personally would recommend any person that files a claim to get a prepaid phone, with a new phone number.

2.) Have somebody put your vehicle up on a lift periodically, checking for a GPS tracking unit, nowadays they are very small, and are usually found in either one of the bumpers, wheelwells, or underbody of your vehicle, they are usually attached with a 50lb magnet. The trackers that they have are on real time, and they have the ability to follow you by computer or with their smartphone, they will typically have a few private eyes following you at the same time. Also, under state law, they cannot trespass onto your property, so they usually attach the gps unit in a public parking lot such as a movie theater or grocery store.

3.) Their private eyes also utilize, high powered lenses onto their video camera's that allow them to sit at far distances, I personally seen one that was at least 80 yards away trying to film me getting into my car, theses douchbags have also used a video camera that looks like an older style cellphone, the phone is actually closed but has the ability to videotape you, it's not a cellphone but it simply looks like one, also a lot of their PI's wear glasses, and I would be willing to bet that is indeed a camera, so watch it out in public.

4.) Every Private eye that has tried to follow me has an SUV with tinted windows in the back, which allows them to conduct their surveillance, after they track your location by GPS, they will sit in the back of their SUV and try to shoot a video of you.

5.) Tighten up your security settings to the max setting on Facebook and Twitter and don't post any photo's of yourself doing anything, they will try and use a photo against you at a hearing, even simple pictures of you sitting down or a smile on your face. Also, don't accept any friend requests from people you don't know!!

6.)Also beware of hidden camera's on your property, they have been known to put them on lightpoles and even tree's, a paralegal told me that one, and she told me that they caught video of a guy taking his trash out to the end of his driveway and snowplowing his driveway, the guy was legitimately injured, the video didn't show him laying in bed with a hot pad and ice packets.

And finally, you can usually spot these guys out in public, they are usually extremely weird, were ex-cops or military. Beware of any strangers that ask you about "Do you have a job" or want you to help them move something or change a tire etc...

Also a good majority of the PI's are indeed women, and sometimes there will be 2 of them, and you will see husband and wife team's occasionally.

Turning off the GPS function on your cellphone won't stop an investigator from using your cellphone to track you. Travelers Insurance uses devices called "Stingrays" that triangulate your position, these devices can also be used to read your text messages, and to intercept your live phone calls.

This company and their investigators use illegal methods frequently to follow you, they try to end your case by taking video of you lifting something, or any other physical activity such as moving furniture. They will use GPS tracking devices on your car, they will *** into your phone and place spyware onto your phone via a text message, and they will *** into your bank account to see where you have been and spent money at.

They will follow you into bars, walmart, grocery stores, and anywhere else that these losers think they can obtain video of you doing something. Please write to your states insurance commission and don't hesitate to call the cops on these dorks, if you have a chance, call a friend on a throwaway cell phone and have these law breakers be dealt with.

Travelers insurance will follow you for an insurance claim, especially workers compensation. They have the ability to track you by your cellphone, which is basically a tracking device, the only thing that they need is your phone number, they can then find your location by using simple computer programs.

Your best bet is to leave it at home if you go somewhere compromising. Their PI's are very weird, they try to blend in with the crowd, and yes they will follow you into bars and restaurants to see what you are talking about and to try and get information about what type of job that you work at and any possible info about your hobbies. Don't play softball, golf, basketball, bicycling, weightlifting, swimming, they will film you and send it to your doctor and or an administrative law judge, or even a prosecutor. These guys don't give up, and they don't follow you everyday, they will check up on you periodically at the claims adjustors discretion.

If they can't get enough information on you, they will try and put a GPS tracking device on your car, these guys know your every move when you under investigation by them, their surveillance trips into high gear when your case is nearing a settlement. Your best bet is to stay home as much as you can, and avoid public places. These people are excellent liars and will say things so that you believe them and won't figure out that they are indeed Private Investigators. Watch it at the grocery store and big box stores, don't lift anything over your restrictions from your doctor, they will send video of you lifting something to your doctor, and your case could be potentially over.

These PI's have state of the art hidden camera's, now days they are very small, and they can be hidden in purses, eyeglasses, buttons, and winter hats, so keep this in mind when you are out in public.

They can read your text messages by installing spyware onto your phone, your workplace and the insurance company have your phone number and that is all that they need, that and some simple programs on their computers. Don't post any pictures of yourself on facebook or twitter, they will use those against you at a hearing.

Do not post any pictures on Facebook! Travelers has tried numerous times to befriend me, they like to make fake profiles and try to get you to confirm them as a friend, once you confirm them as a friend, they delete their Facebook account and log back on every once in awhile to check your Facebook status.

Get 2 different phones, one to deal with Travelers, your attorney, your doctors, your workplace. Use the second phone for your friends, family, and anything else that you need to deal with etcโ€ฆ.

Travelers PI's are known to *** into your phone remotely and install spyware onto your smartphone, the only thing that they need is your telephone number, it is usually a weird text message that you will receive, once the spyware is on there, they can read your text messages and listen to your live conversations.

Travelers sent a team of PI's from another state to watch me for a little over a month, make sure that when you go to the grocery store or to say Walmart that you bring somebody with you to lift the heavier items, they will try to film you lifting cases of water, soda, sacks of potato's or anything else that weighs over your restrictions from your doctor.

Travelers has followed me in the past for a Workers Compensation claim that I had filed. They used the GPS function on my cellphone to "Ping" my location, that is where they figure out the location by Triangulating my location via Cellphone towers.

I also caught one of their Private Investigators underneath my car one day, he said he dropped his key, but he was attaching a GPS unit underneath my car near the muffler, I felt like kicking him but I chose not to.

They had numerous private investigators follow me over the last 2 years, you know its one when you see the same strange person at multiple locations, for example, one guy said that he worked for Fed-Ex, he even had a hat and Jacket that said Fed-Ex, he probably got it from a relative or GoodWill, anyways he followed me to Walmart, a Chinese Restaurant, the grocery store, and 2 different bars. Most of these guys are losers, they could't pass the test for a Police officer and became Mall Security cops and eventually made their way up to a loser Private Investigator, getting their jollies on by following injured people.

They are dirty liars, they pay doctors to write fake reports, they hire private investigators to follow you around, they cut off your payments to starve you into getting a job, and they are slow at settling up with you, it sometimes takes 4 or 5 years to settle with them.

I can understand your pain and mental anguish. I was injured in a severe collision.

Travelers hired a private investigator that stalked and harassed my family. They went as far as to trespass on my minor child's school hiding behind the school van and video taping the children entering the building. This was observed by members of the school. I could have played dumb and let them call the police.

I felt bad for the investigator after speaking with the individual because the investigator begged for mercy and threatened to fabricate information about me. I was shocked and in disbelieve but then felt sorry for them because she/he was desperate not to get into any further problems. Someone did call the police on the investigator but I spoke with the officer and let them know we handled the situation by not disclosing what really happened.

That person was lucky I forgave them, I felt Godly after hearing their sob story. :sigh :roll but I am still :cry

I am running into this. Nobody believes me when I tell them that travelers is controlling my doctors, medical care, and not paying my medical bills.

They have stalled on my medical care and are trying to get out of providing both medical care and the payment of it. It is now 6 months.

Is anybody else in Florida having this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions?

If i was a company that had to insure my workforce with Workers's Compensation Insurance, it wouldn't be with Traveler's, they have screwed over numerous people at my company that got injured.
